Dr. Paudyal has recently been awarded for a new NSF project Collaborative Research:

Implementation: Medium: Secure, Resilient Cyber-Physical Energy System Workforce Pathways via Data-Centric, Hardware-in-the-Loop Training."  This collaborative initiative involves four Florida universities (Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, University of South Florida, and University of Central Florida) working together to establish a cyber-training hub in Southern Florida. This project focuses on offering hands-on training under expert mentorship, utilizing advanced cyber-physical energy infrastructures. The endeavor, which is led by Florida Atlantic University,   integrates various fields, including power engineering, communication networks, data science, and cyber/hardware security, with the goal of pioneering a fresh approach to educating individuals about energy cyberinfrastructure resilience. Participants will gain invaluable experience through a distinct remotely connected cyberinfrastructure, allowing them to hone the multi-disciplinary skillsets crucial for success in the data-centric energy industry. Project duration is for 4 years, and FIU is awarded $75,000.
