Freshman Student Admission

Apply early. You’ll need a high school degree from an accredited institution, official SAT/ACT scores, transcripts from all other colleges you’ve attended. 

Application materials consist of:

  • transcripts from all other colleges you have attended

International Student Admission

FIU is one of the most diverse universities in the United States and engineering and computing students and graduates represent more than 100 countries.

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services provides advising services to international student and scholars on immigration, legal, personal, cultural, social and financial issues.

The GRE requirement waiver has been extended through Fall 2022. Duolingo will continue to be accepted for the English Proficiency Test through Fall 2022.
