Congratulate our ECE doctoral student Mr. Mahmoud Abdelrahman who was awarded the third-place best student paper award at the 2023 IEEE Greentech conference. His paper study entitled “Rule-Based Power and Energy Management System for Shipboard Microgrid with HESS To Mitigate Propulsion and Pulsed Load Fluctuations.”
The 2023 IEEE Green Technologies Conference Technical Committee has selected three student papers from three major universities conference for best paper awards, and FIU was one of them.
