Title: FIU secures patent for instantly rechargeable battery technology

On June 26, 2018, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office validated a new magnetic battery technology that can be used to quickly power and recharge devices as small as a smartphone or as large as an electric car. The inventors are Rakesh Guduru and our very own ECE faculty member, Sakhrat Khizroev. To read more on the patent awarded, read the South Florida Business Journal article.
