Sakhrat Khizroev, a researcher at Florida International University, potentially found a cure for multiple brain diseases. According to Khizroev, “We learned to control electrical forces in the brain using magnetics, we pretty much opened a pathway to the brain.’’ The approach taken uses magnetic energy to manipulate the electrical charges of those particles once they are inside the brain. This gives researchers the ability to directly apply medicine to regions of the brain which were never reachable before.
