Over thirty five years of teaching and professional work in engineering. Developed studies and researches at the University of Havana, Cuba the Energy Institute of Moscow, Russia and the Technical University of Brno, Czech Republic. Professional activities involved developing and teaching of different undergraduate and graduate engineering courses, administration of contracts and subcontracts, planning and scheduling of engineering works, projects of electrical and air conditioning installations, project and development of electronic equipment, inspections and feasibility studies. Working at Florida International University since 1993, teaching in the Department of Construction Management since 1997 and in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering since 2004.
